Is motherhood not exactly what you thought it would be? Is daily life a little more on the “just trying to survive” instead of thriving? When I became a mom, I knew it would be hard, but had no idea just how hard it would be to raise young kids. There is little decisions and big decisions, daily. There is worry, guilt and trying to remember to be grateful (because well, sometimes there isn’t a whole lot of joy when your kiddo is screaming!)
Oh and the emotions! Did you ever notice how many emotions you can feel in a minute when it comes to your kids? And how about other relationships? This parenting thing can be pretty overwhelming at times.
There is no doubt that this stage of life is hard. But if you are wondering if there is something that could be a little different, to find a little more joy of less stress, then come chat with other moms about motherhood.
In this 4 week class, we will be exploring all things motherhood. We will explore what type of mom you want to be (what are some of your beliefs and values around parenthood), what are the barriers to you being the mom you want and need to be. We will begin to explore all the other areas of your life that make it a bit complicated. In addition, we will also spent some time talking about how to help your child with their own emotions. We will explore how to move you from surviving to thriving in motherhood. Essentially, finding ways to embrace the messiness of motherhood.
This group is for you if you are a mom with young kids (ages 1 to ages 6) and feel like you want to explore your role as a mom a bit deeper and learn a few helpful strategies along the way, this group may be for you.
