Dirty diapers, crying babies, exhaustion, managing several lives, work/life balance (or rather imbalance) seem to be expected and accepted parts of motherhood. While there is nothing you can do about the dirty diapers, there is something you can do to help the stress of “doing it all” not take over your life. Stress impacts all areas of our lives: physical health, emotional health, and even our relationships. When you take the time to make yourself a priority, this benefits your whole family. If you feel like you could use some “me time”, this workshop is for you! These stress management strategies will leave you finding more joyful moments in the chaos of motherhood!

MOMS MATTER WORKSHOP
This is a workshop for moms who may be struggling with their own self-care, stress management, and transitioning to their role of motherhood.
There are two options for this workshop
Moms Matter Workshop for Pregnant or New Moms
June 18, 2016 at 11am-1pm
Jessica Fowler, LCSW will discuss the importance of self-care (yes it can happen), how to make time for it, transitioning into the role of motherhood and managing relationships.
Dianne Cassidy, MA, IBCLC, ALC, CC will discuss how breastfeeding can decrease stress levels for both mother and child.
Amanda Ronzo, MS, RDN, CLC, CDN will discuss the impact nutritious foods has on your physical and mental well-being.
Moms Matter Workshop for Experienced Moms
June 18, 2016 2pm-4pm
Jessica Fowler, LCSW will discuss the importance of self-care and stress management. She will explore ways to let go of expectations of motherhood and managing relationships.
Amanda Ronzo, MS, RDN, CLC, CDN will discuss the impact nutritious food has on your physical and mental well-being.
You will leave either of these workshops with knowledge and skills that help prevent and manage stress associated with early motherhood.
