Connecting with Moms

Square

There are topics of motherhood that are just hard to talk about to others.  We can have secrets of feeling inadequate, not feeling enough or worries that we are screwing it up.  Often times though, we find that when we are brave enough to say it out loud, we are not alone.  Finding other moms to share our experiences with is helpful because often we can walk away thinking “so glad I am not the only one”.  I am a true believer in connecting moms with moms.  I have 3 groups starting up soon and if any seem of interest, please let me know.

Moms in Recovery:  Are you a mom who is sober and raising young kids.  I am currently looking to start a moms group beginning in March.  For more information, please see the link.

Wellness for Motherhood: This group begins 2/24 and is a skills based group for moms who are stressed or overwhelmed.  For more information, please see the link.

Parenting Book Club:  We will be reading The Whole Brain Child by Dan Siegel, MD and Tina Payne Bryson PhD. over 3 weeks.  What I love about book clubs is that when read slowly, we come and discuss so that you are able to implement strategies over weeks.  It allows you the space to figure out what works best for you. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
